Services

Manufacture is only part of the job.

A sound result also depends on accurate information, sensible material choices, clear responsibilities and delivery or installation planned around the site.

Project services

Use what the job requires.

A supply-only bench does not need the same process as a coordinated site package. Albion sets out the services included before work begins.

01

Initial project consultation

A first discussion about the location, intended use, priorities, budget and information already available.

02

Site surveys

Measurements, access, levels, interfaces and site conditions can be reviewed where a survey is appropriate to the scope.

03

Design development & drawings

Ideas and requirements are developed into a buildable proposal. Technical or approval drawings are available where agreed.

04

Specification & estimating

Timber, components, construction, finish, responsibilities and exclusions are defined so the quotation can be assessed properly.

05

Made-to-order manufacture

Products are manufactured to the agreed drawings or specification, with checks at the appropriate stages.

06

Supply-only orders

For contractors, estates or customers arranging their own installation, products can be supplied with the agreed component and care information.

07

Delivery

Delivery method, unloading responsibility, access and programme are considered before the order is confirmed.

08

Managed installation

Installation or installation coordination can be included, with scope and site responsibilities stated clearly.

09

Repairs & replacement parts

Existing products can be assessed for repair, replacement components or a more suitable complete replacement.

10

Inspection & maintenance

Inspection, care and ongoing maintenance can be agreed for products that need planned attention over their service life.

11

Contractor & supply-chain enquiries

Albion welcomes tender enquiries, subcontract manufacture and discussions about repeat or package supply.

Typical route

A straightforward process, properly recorded.

Drawings, approvals and records are matched to the size and complexity of the order.

  1. 01

    Enquiry

Send a drawing, specification, photograph, details of an existing item or an initial idea.

  2. 02

    Discussion or survey

Use, dimensions, site conditions, access and responsibilities are clarified.

  3. 03

    Specification & quotation

The proposed timber, construction, scope and price are set out in writing.

  4. 04

    Drawing approval

Where needed, drawings are issued for approval before manufacture.

  5. 05

    Manufacture

The product is made to the agreed information, with checks at the appropriate stages.

  6. 06

    Delivery & installation

Delivery, access and installation are arranged to the agreed scope.

  7. 07

    Handover & maintenance

Care information, records and maintenance options are provided where agreed.

Supply only

Clear handover to your installer.

Products can be made and supplied to an agreed collection or delivery point, with components, drawings and care information included where agreed.

Delivery

Planned around access.

Vehicle access, unloading, storage and site contacts are discussed early so the delivery arrangement is realistic.

Installation

Defined responsibilities on site.

Managed installation or coordination can be quoted. Foundations, making good, welfare, access and other interfaces are identified in the scope.
